I am making a goal to have music available for sale on Itunes within a year from now.

The question is, would any of you buy the songs?

I would still put music on newgrounds, but a portion of my compositions would go straight to sale on Itunes. This way, I'd make a bit of money on the side to purchase new hardware and software, all the while still producing free music. Of course, I'd take more time to master tracks that I sold to make it worth the money. Probably $.99 per song, of which I'd make roughly $.55-.60

What do you think? Would you support me and buy a song once in a while?

It sounds cool, but I'm not sure if I'll buy it. But in any case, maybe you should make an album of the greatest songs you've posted so far and sell it. But you gotta add some kind of bonus...

I'm thinking that I would start with an album of my greatest songs but reworked for better quality. Then, I'd add two or three new tracks as a kind of bonus.

-you should start composing for indie games, I'm sure some people would want some nice piano music (eg blueberry garden, braid)
then if it's a free game you get a cut of the ad revenue :)

I'd love for that to happen. I just heard the Serenade of Storms, and so I looked for more of your work. After listening to (and loving) a few more of your pieces, I can safely say that I would pay the soulless corporation known as Apple for the ability to listen to you on the go.

Let me know if (or more like WHEN) you decide to go through with this idea. I would gladly be your first customer....though I probably won't be. I'll open iTunes the second it comes out, buy it immediately, and be 17,372,887th or something.

And yes, that was a compliment. ^_^

Anywho, I like that idea, and I think it's worth a shot.
