I love you Joe

My music hero has to be Joe Hisaishi. What he does is exactly what I've dreamed of...

He composes music for the most incredible animated films I have ever seen. Princess Mononoke, Spiritied Away, My Neighbor Totoro, Howl's Moving Castle, the list goes on and on. He has his works listened to all from people all across the globe. Symphonies perform his music...The man conducts his music at concerts himself, pouring his heart and soul into the music. He even performs his songs on stage as a pianist. When you watch him play or conduct, you can see him closing his eyes, physically moving with every beat, filled with emotion.

Joe Hisaishi is living out the dream. He does not merely compose music; he infuses his soul into it. He performs, conducts, and composes...And that is what I want. I want to learn as much as I can about music. I want to create it and move people to tears. I want to inspire them with my music. I want to take whatever bit of talent God has given me and I want to develop it to the fullest! Not for fame, or fortune. I love music...

Check out his music. It is beyond amazing. :)

I love you Joe

Nice idol ^__^ Mine is Nobuo Uematsu followed closely by Chopin, Debussy, Faure, and Koichi Sugiyama.

I have many. Nobuo is certainly a huge one. Final Fantasy music is practically what made me start composing. It was the first piano music I ever taught myself, and I arranged it before I ever started composing. I love that music so much. Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Debussy, and others are great as well. :)

I respect you dude, hence you're one of my idols. Your compositions always move me, so great job and keep at it! :D

Joe Hisaishi kicks ass. Dragon Boy is one of the most beautiful pieces I've ever heard.
