BlazingDragon's News

My music hero has to be Joe Hisaishi. What he does is exactly what I've dreamed of...

He composes music for the most incredible animated films I have ever seen. Princess Mononoke, Spiritied Away, My Neighbor Totoro, Howl's Moving Castle, the list goes on and on. He has his works listened to all from people all across the globe. Symphonies perform his music...The man conducts his music at concerts himself, pouring his heart and soul into the music. He even performs his songs on stage as a pianist. When you watch him play or conduct, you can see him closing his eyes, physically moving with every beat, filled with emotion.

Joe Hisaishi is living out the dream. He does not merely compose music; he infuses his soul into it. He performs, conducts, and composes...And that is what I want. I want to learn as much as I can about music. I want to create it and move people to tears. I want to inspire them with my music. I want to take whatever bit of talent God has given me and I want to develop it to the fullest! Not for fame, or fortune. I love music...

Check out his music. It is beyond amazing. :)

I love you Joe

I have posted a new composition titled "-Drifting-". It is my longest song to date and uses samples from EWQLSO, which I recently purchased and am learning to use. Feel free to listen and comment. Constructive criticism is appreciated. :D

I worked several hours today and have finished composing a new piece! I am adding the final touches before hopefully posting it tomorrow. I am very excited for you guys to hear it and to get some feedback, as it is one of my better works.

Check my page for the new piece tomorrow noon or evening! :D

I just posted a little piano piece, and within about a minute, it was zero bombed. -_- Oh well, I'll just keep pressing on.

On the bright side of things, I just purchased the following:

-Dell Studio XPS 435 Desktop
-FL Studio 8 XXL
-East West Quantum Leap Symphonic Orchestra (Platinum Plus edition)

For months now, I haven't posted any substantial music. I've gotten way behind on reviews, personal messages, and more due to time constraints. I apologize to any PMs that have gone without response, but I have lost track of who I have and have not responded too.

I have to two main pieces of info to share. First off, I have the sheet music to Sadness and Sorrow as well as Story Left Untold if anyone is interested. Shoot me a pm with your email and I will get the sheet music to you promptly.

Secondly, I finally should be posting new music! I have been using an ancient PC with a pentium 4 processor, 512 mb of RAM and only a demo of FL Studio. I've saved much money however and just purchased a Dell Studio XPS 435 desktop, along with FL Studio XXL and (brace yourself) EastWest/Quantum Leap Symphonic Orchestra Platinum Complete Plus PLAY Edition!!!

I'm truly excited for this new technology and am just waiting for the sound library and FL to come in the mail any day now, and then on to composing.

Thank you to all who have sent encouraging comments, left reviews, and listened to my music. :)

I would like to apologize to all of my fans for the lack of new music. This semester of school has largely eaten my free time, and various factors have kept me from composing as much as I'd like. Additionally, my computer is not working and I cannot access FL Studio. Thankfully, there are only three weeks of school left, and then I should be composing again. :)

On the bright side of things, my fan count has reached 400! Thank you to all who have left reviews and support. It truly means a lot to me.

Tamadrum and I composed yet another piece recently titled "-Decent-". It has been posted on his profile. Please check it out!

On a side note, we have saved the funds to purchase the full version of FL Studio and will soon be able to save our project files, meaning better quality songs, hopefully longer ones, and more frequent releases. >:D

It has been over three months since I submitted my last substantial piece of music, Serenade of Storms. Today, I posted an original collaboration between myself and Tamadrum. It is nearly four and a half minutes, making it our longest piece to date.

The song is called "After the rain" and is our entry in the MAC9 Valentine's Day audio contest. Please listen and drop a review. We would love to know what you think!

Thanks! :D

Hi people! It has been a long time since I composed anything, as school has been sucking the life from me. However, Christmas break is here and I was graced with the opportunity to conduct a collab with my neighbor and best friend, Tamadrum! It has an epic feel to it and was submitted on his profile for the current MAC8 audio contest. Please take a listen and review!

Thank you all and merry Christmas! :D

Firstly, I can not begin to express my appreciation and gratitude towards those who have supported me here on Newgrounds! I have received countless reviews, comments, and PMs recently; quite frankly, it is overwhelming. I consider it a blessing though. Keep 'em coming! I am still working on responding to them all but will do my best to complete that task.

Secondly, I would like to apologize for the absense of new music during the last several weeks. School has taken a substantial amount of my time and energy, leaving me little opportunity to get my compositions uploaded. However, the school musical just ended and I now have a bit more freetime on my hands. If all goes well, I should have some new work posted within the upcoming weeks.

Thank you all for the continued support! ^_^

PS. Happy Thanksgiving!!! :D
